About Dokita Sesi
27 years. Thousands of patients. One mission - making quality health guidance accessible to every Nigerian.
My name is Dr. Lukman Olasunkanmi Olusesi. I grew up understanding that health is not a privilege - it is a right. That belief has driven every chapter of my 27-year medical career.
I graduated with an M.B.Ch.B (Medicine & Surgery) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and later earned a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from Olabisi Onabanjo University. My training took me from busy hospital wards to university health centres, from emergency response teams to international fellowships.
In 2014, I was awarded the Commonwealth Professional Fellowship in Health Communication at the University of Roehampton, London - an experience that deepened my passion for making health information clear, trustworthy, and action-driving.
Today, as Deputy Director of Health Services at Lagos State University (Epe Campus), I lead a multidisciplinary team delivering clinical care, disease prevention, and wellness programmes for thousands of students and staff.
But beyond my official role, I created Dokita Sesi - because I wanted to reach more people. People who can't afford private hospital bills. People who are confused by medical jargon. People who simply need a doctor they can trust to speak plainly.
That's who I am. That's why I'm here.
When I'm not in the Clinic
I'm probably on my bicycle. 🚴
Cycling isn't just my hobby - it's my lifestyle medicine in practice. I believe in everything I teach: movement heals, consistency wins, and your body is worth investing in.
I'm also passionate about online health education, fitness coaching, and raising a generation of health-conscious Nigerians who make informed decisions about their bodies.
My faith keeps me grounded. My family keeps me motivated. My patients and clients give me purpose.
